I love that Iona directly and sincerely apologized and again told Hime she wasn’t the bad guy here. I feel like if the show had glossed over her bad treatment of Hime with “she had a tragic backstory and felt Hime was responsible so it’s okay” it would have been easy to dislike Fortune and the show’s writing. But no, she realized what she did was wrong, owned her shit and the show acknowledged her attitude was not okay. A lot of character growth and it really shows you Iona was just a sad teenage girl who lashed out because she was too wrapped up in herself to realize things, but has a good heart and takes responsibility for her actions.
